the rectangular top with a reticulated gilt bronze gallery and conforming angled molding trimmed in guilloché banding, above a tall door centering a shaped reserve of inlaid "C" scrolled leafy branches above curling blossoming vines interspersed with engraved mother-of-pearl buds, enclosing an eagle swooping downwards to a shepherdess holding a staff and leashed recumbent lamb, standing on a lambrequin plinth above floral swags, flanked by paired short drawers with foliate cast escutcheons and topped by pierced bronze galleries within serpentine bracket sides, on a rectangular desktop with green leather inset writing surface enclosed by egg-and-bell flower cast trim, above a central long drawer flanked by two stacked short drawers over tapering stepped blocks mounted with bow ribbon tied laurel leaf swags, raised on tapering circular stop fluted legs with applied ovule modeled bronze collars over fleur d'asperges chandelles and turned rings ending before leaf tip and berry pressed bronze caps, matching foliate cast escutcheons and brass inlaid string line borders used throughout, includes one key. Condition:

Good restored condition with some expected lifting of brass inlay throughout, worn areas on green leather, gilding wear, loose mounts, small losses, age cracks, some drawers have restored lining, surface discoloration in areas, normal marks, scratches, dings and surface buildup throughout.
