the rectangular top centering a stylized seven point star within a dramatically figured walnut panel trimmed in contrasting ebony and blond block banding framed by a cherry wood border, above three similarly inlaid drawers with later bow ribbon tied laurel branch escutcheons and circular foliate wreath and disc paterae modeled pulls, flanked by trompe l'oeil parquetry fluted sides on tapering triangular feet.
