A LOUIS XIV STYLE BOULLE MARQUETRY INLAID CLOCK ON STAND, LATE 20TH CENTURY,

the brass Boulle inlaid contre partie bracket clock with a domed rectangular top surmounted by a striding angel blowing his horn within a balustrade border cornered by floral urn finials, above a conforming case with glazed door trimmed in encadrements and mounted with classical muses representing the arts flanking cupid on a terrestrial globe cast in relief, opening to a bronze circular dial with white enamel plaques of black Roman numerals enclosing reticulated blued steel hands and twin key escapements, suspending a gilt bronze cherubic pendulum, within corner espagnolette scrolling brackets above writhing dragon form feet, raised on a separate similarly decorated conforming plinth with square form foliate detailed feet, supported by a matching stand with cabriole legs and maiden mask mounted hips ending in pierced sabot mounted feet, elevated on a shaped base continuing same decoration with square form leafy cast feet. Height: 75" Width: 31 1/2" Depth: 14"

Condition:
