Pre-Republic period Texas maps and important Civil War-era maps of the United States of America and a rare and good example of the “Ptolemy Map of the World" by Johannes Schnitzer from the late 15th century. A collection of rare and complicated clocks and timepieces, featuring a very important tall case clock by E. Howard and Company circa 1870 and a man's wristwatch by Vacheron Constantin. Works by artists Roberto Matta, Porfirio Salinas, Kermit Oliver, Frederic Remington, Edouard Cortes, Francis Coates Jones, Dorothy Hood, and Wolf Kahn. French, English, and American furniture including a French Art Deco credenza by Leleu and Poillerat, a 19th century Bureau Plat and Cartonnier in the manner of Francois Linke, and a pair of Mid Century design “Blue Rope Chairs” designed by Humberto and Fernando Campana.
